Position Overview NIS is seeking a MS365 Svc Desk Agent who can provide 24x7x365 MS365 support to approximately 2 million warfighters around the world from the NIWCLANT service desk in NOLA. The position requires extensive knowledge associated with all the applications within MS365. Duties and Responsibilities Provides ongoing desktop support, troubleshoots and resolves desktop problems Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate manner, via phone, email or chat Perform triage and troubleshooting for system issues, document steps taken in the specified incident management took and escalate to appropriate service support groups as required. Responsible for monitoring, and updating of incidents within the incident management tool Acts as first tier in incident management, and resolution by conducting routine tasks such as trouble-shooting systems. Ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved Provide remote and phone support for IT customers Maintain full professionalism when working with customers Work under minimal supervision and be a self-starter Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and COOP events Job Qualifications Must have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance Must have one of the following certifications A+, CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP Knowledge of desktop publishing software (MS Office, Office 365) Experience with Active Directory and its functions (UsersGroups, NTFS permissions, Group Policy, etc.) Must be proficient with all Microsoft O365 applicationsservicestools. Knowledge of DoD networking and IA policies and regulations. Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, to IT and non-IT staff. Ability to support shift work in a 24x7x365 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to deliver high quality work. Strong oral and written communication and organization skills. Multitasking Additional Skills Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role Knowledge of Email services and their functions (Exchange, POP, IMAP) Experience working in an enterprise cloud operations environment.
