Chase Ace Hardware is hiring multiple warehouse clerk positions for their distribution center located in Richmond, CA. This distribution center services 4 locations throughout the bay area. The Warehouse Clerk assists in the receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders. A successful Warehouse Clerk is hard-working, organized and detail oriented. You should be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory levels remain steady. Warehouse Clerk Responsibilities: • Accurately process incoming/outgoing orders • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock • Sweep, dust, and organize warehouse back stock and work area • Ensure all outbound merchandise is properly processed/tagged • Preparing orders for shipment • Operating stock management tools; for example, a forklift or palette jack • Report any discrepancies or unresolved issues Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: • Must demonstrate solid problem-solving skills • Must have prior warehouse experience • Must be computer literate • Must be detail oriented • Must understand basic math • Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively • Must have high school diploma or equivalent To Apply: • Submit resume detailing your experience • Submit a cover letter explaining why you would be a great fit
