    Job Description

    Our Austin based client islooking for an EDI Manager that will manage a team of 10 EDI specialists that engage in onboarding Logistics Service Providers (LSPs). The EDI team deploys hundreds of LSP EDI connections each year. The EDI Manager will define new processes and implement new tools to streamline the EDI onboarding operation, optimizing throughput, speed and quality. The EDI Manager may work out of the company's headquarters in Austin, TX or one of their regional offices in Memphis, TN or Scottsdale, AZ. About the team You will become a member of a global, highly skilled operations organization, stretching from the US to the Philippines. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related technical field. Ability execute using standard protocols in EDI (ANSI X12 EDIFACT) 7+ years of working experience developing and implementing EDI integrations on an Enterprise Operations Team. Experience in working or leading a high volume EDI integration operation Working knowledge of leading B2B integration tools (e.g. Informatica, webMethods, etc) and associated best practices Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills, and proactively identify areas of improvement. Excellent communications skills, which enable you to convey ideas and messages effectively and impact certainty with customers. Ability to build and foster positive interpersonal rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Effectively present ideas and solutions to small or large audiences of customers, clients, managers, and other stakeholders. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The EDI Manager is responsible for building and overseeing a team of EDI Specialists responsible for the details of data resource design, development, and delivery. - Managing a team of EDI Specialists, prioritizingassigningmanaging work assignments, coordinating with business users on time expectations - Redesign and optimize processes, systems and organization to setup a Mapping Factory, Map Templates, Map Library - Work efficiently to resolve production support issues, escalating issues as needed. - Provide documentation of new processes and train the EDI team in those processes.
