Senior Software Engineer, Mobile (iOS, Swift)

Location: McLean, VA (Or remote with ability to support East Coast hours)

In partnership with an extremely promising early-stage start-up, Hamilton Porter has the privilege of being able to offer an amazing opportunity for a Senior level Mobile Engineer. The company is currently valued at $13 million after a soft product launch this past winter. Even in these covid times, the product showcased fantastic results, turning a higher profit than originally anticipated. As a result of the product's success and closing a successful funding round the company is making quick advancements as they prepare for more market launches. This is a mission driven company one trying to improve the economic status quo by offering a product that can achieve business results, while also allowing both drivers and riders to feel equipped with more personal rights as the ridesharing industry continues to prove critical on day to day life.

Day to Day:

As a Lead iOS Mobile Engineer, you will be supporting a two-sided marketplace application working alongside a team of top notch Mobile and Engineering professionals. You will be responsible for the iOS product offering with the change to work closely with another mobile expert also having come straight from direct industry competition. Expect to work with a lot of autonomy, as you will be tasked with assisting in both Mobile App Developing and managing the RESTful API backend connection.

Skills Required:

• 3 - 6 + years of experience working as a Software Engineer with a focus on Mobile Products.
• Expertise in building consumer facing mobile solutions for iOS with a strong working knowledge of Swift.
• Avid problem solver with a strong understand of Frameworks and hands on integrations into various 3rd party APIs
• Proficiency with one OOP Language (C#, Java, Python, Golang) and code versioning tools, such as Git
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science)
• Would love to see links to apps in iOS Store, or previous experience having supported an application for a start-up, SaaS, or on-demand delivery type service offering
