            Job Description

            Position Description: Minimum Required Qualifications: • Minimum requirements for this position are ten (10) years' experience as a project CQC manager in the construction industry • Minimum five (5) years as CQC manager on a medical or healthcare facility of at least 50,000 square feet, on an operating medical campus, similar in scope, and complexity • Construction Type of New or Significant Addition with a project value of $50 Million or higher • A degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management is required Tasks and Responsibilities: • Responsible for overall management of CQC and has the authority to act in all CQC matters for the Contractor • Complies with the Contract requirements and covers all construction operations, both onsite and offsite, and be keyed to the proposed construction sequence • Quality control organization, including a chart showing lines of authority and provide procedures for scheduling, reviewing, certifying, and managing submittals, including those of subcontractors, offsite fabricators, suppliers, and purchasing agents. • Control, verification, and acceptance of testing procedures for each specific test • Provide procedures for tracking preparatory, initial, and follow-up control phases and control, verification, and acceptance tests including documentation • Provide procedures for tracking construction deficiencies from identification through acceptable corrective action • Coordinate scheduled work with Special Inspections • Schedule a coordination meeting and meet with the Contracting Officer and discuss the Contractor's quality control system • Provide preparatory phase and inspection • Oversee initial phase requirements of project • Perform daily checks to assure control activities, including control testing, are providing continued compliance with Contract requirements and provide daily reports • Perform specified or required tests to verify that control measures are adequate to provide a product which conforms to Contract requirements • Validate testing laboratories by the USACE Material Testing Center (MTC) for the tests to be performed • Perform as final acceptance testing of all applicable items and systems as defined by the specifications, schedule for Final Acceptance Testing, and as directed • Maintain current records providing factual evidence that required quality control activities and/or tests have been performed Submission Requirements: At a minimum, the candidate's professional resume must include the following: • List of all Educational Achievements • List of all Professional Licenses or Certificates • List of Awards Received • Detailed Employment History with each company or government agency including: o Name & Contact Information of the firm or agency o Start Date and End Date (Month & Year) o Positions Held o List of Projects / Programs Managed including project value, location of assignment, roles and responsibilities and contribution to each project
