A progressive rural health clinic located along the beautiful coast of Southern Oregon is actively interviewing for a Trauma Informed Behavioral Health Therapist. The Behavioral Health Therapist will be part of a collaborative and supportive team of mental health therapists that work together to ensure the local patient population receives the best care possible. The Behavioral Health Program is led by an experienced Program Director that has a clear vision of what they want this program to look like moving forward and the next therapist that joins this team will be the catalyst towards an exciting future.
The Behavioral Health Therapist will work in an integrated care delivery model that provides comprehensive patient services including primary care, mental health and other healthcare services. The Behavioral Health Therapist may have any of the following credentials: LMFT, LCSW, LPC, PsyD, or PhD in Clinical Psychology. In addition, this advanced mental health team is building out their program and seeking certified clinicians with: Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Emotionally focused therapy (EFT), Cognitive processing therapy (CPT), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) experience and certifications.
The Behavioral Health Therapist will primarily work in the mental health clinic; however, as the program evolves and grows, the Behavioral Health Therapist may be asked to work in different work environments to provide the necessary care. This may be in a primary care clinic, mental health clinic or a school based clinic.
Living along the Oregon Coast provides a great place to raise a family, an escape the hustle and bustle of the city and a relaxing pace of life. This health clinic truly values work / life balance and providing a mission driven work environment for their employees to thrive.
