            Executive Director - Position Description

            Position Summary

Reporting to the President of The Associated Alumni of Central High School (AACHS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Executive Director (ED) will have overall operational and strategic responsibility for the AACHS. The AACHS has been a volunteer-run organization for the last 30 years, and the ED will be charged with transforming it into a professionally-run organization, with the full support of the AACHS' governing body, the Board of Managers (BOM). The BOM has decided to hire an ED at this time in order to successfully conclude its $45 million capital campaign, "Leading the Way," and to better support the students and the alumni of Central High School. Since this is a new position, the ED, in consultation with the AACHS President and BOM, will have discretion to staff the organization to be the most effective that it can be. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
