Job Description

Job Summary: This position will provide administrative support for the Contracts Administrative Office and reception area under the direct supervision of the Senior Contracts Administrator. This highly professional position deals with a diverse group of important external callers and visitors, as well as all levels of employees within the organization. Self-motivation is essential to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Answer telephone regarding contracts and route calls appropriately.
  • Answers and directs phones for the office. Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions. 
  • Supports all aspects of contracts administration including checklists updated, creating new job folders, submitting reports, and help monitor company email inboxes.  
  • Update Master Subcontractor list and track/update insurance requirements for job.
  • Analyze and scan certified payroll, identifying any discrepancies.
  • Processing information, organizing, planning, and prioritizing work.
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records. documentation.


  • Knowledge of construction techniques, standards, and contracts.
  • Business degree preferred, but not required with appropriate experience.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures.
  • Solid aptitude of technical research, analytical skills, data entry and web-based research.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.


Compensation Range: $40,000 - $50,000 Annual DOE 

After completing the company’s orientation period and Benefit required work hours attained; Interwest Construction Inc. pays 80% of employee Medical and 50% of family premium. Company pays 100% employee premium and 50% family premium for Dental and Vision. After 90 days of employment 401k Retirement eligible. Paid time off agreed upon at start of employment.
