General Contractor seeks an qualified and experienced Project Site Superintendent with Federal Government construction project experience to oversee field construction.
Candidate should possess working knowledge of all facets of construction and project sequencing. Other desirable attributes:
· Solid understanding of all aspects of construction

· Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
· Willingness to travel (temporary relocation may be required)
· OSHA certification
· Understanding of USACE administrative and contractual processes
Qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities:
Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
Maintain construction schedules. Identify and solve problems.
Schedule deliveries and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the project.
Understand project plans and specifications.
Understand subcontractor contracted scope of work and perimeters.
Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
Prepare Daily Reports and take progress photos to document work completed.
Work and communicate daily with the Project Manager to resolve issues, warranty items, scheduling, contract management, change order management and other job related coordination.
Prepare, schedule and supervise completion of a final punch list.
Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job hazards immediately.
Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to safety policies.
Maintain an organized job site and work areas.
Travel as necessary.
Work Experience and Certifications:
Experience managing military construction projects (USACE) highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also be OSHA 30 certified and have completed the USACE CQM for Contractors.
Demonstrated Technical Competencies and other requirements:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
Required Licenses and Certifications:
A Valid Driver License is required.
