The Independence Center has been providing psychosocial rehabilitation, group and individual therapy, case management, vocational, and crisis services to adults with chronic mental health needs in Lake County for over 30 years. Adult Outpatient Services (AOS) Program Coordinator
This position is responsible for the clinical/ managerial supervision of the Adult Outpatient services (AOS) program and clinical team. The position is responsible for providing over-arching supervision regarding all clinical concerns. The AOS Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing program conformance to the Center’s needs and objectives. This position is responsible for the clinical supervision, hiring, and termination of AOS staff as needed. The AOS Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily programming needs, working in conjunction with the AOS staff to facilitate the therapy and counseling, community support, and case management services. Clinical responsibilities include mental health assessments, treatment planning, and direct services provided by AOS. Knowledge of the Clubhouse Model – particularly as it relates to psychosocial rehabilitation desired.
