Job Title: Chief Public Information Officer

Full time 12-month professional executive staff member will serve as the senior advisor to the Chancellor; plan, direct and assist in the design, production and implementation of all advertising, marketing and public relations activities; represent, communicate and speak on behalf of the organization in interviews and press conferences; and direct the response to all inquiries from outside the organization and serve as the liaison between the organization and all media.
Summary of Duties:
Minimum Qualification/Work Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required with 8 or more years of experience in public relations, communications/media, journalism or marketing; possesses outstanding organizational and oral and written communication skills; computer knowledge, and demonstrated creativity. Evidence of successful media campaign or project, experience in use of multiple media and communication tools and applications and experience with developing promotional materials and/or presentations.
Preferred Qualifications/Work Experience:
Master's Degree with 5 or more years of experience.
40 hours per week, a flexible schedule may include evenings and weekends; some overtime may be required.
