Operator in our metal/framing department.
Responsible for operating of assigned equipment and the fabrication of fire-rated glass and/or metal frames according to Vetrotech’s process, quality and safety specifications.
Reports to Production Lead/Production Manager.
Responsible for on-time delivery of orders
- Overview and facilitate work load between machines
- Following QA standards
- Following Safety-Program
- Understanding time management of machinery to production schedule
- Cost efficient management of cut off and inventory
- Must learn and utilize TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance)
- Must maintain 5S program
High School Diploma is preferred but not required
1-3 years of manufacturing exprience, strong preference for previous machine operating experience
Reliable and able to be punctual to work
Effective communication skills
Able to work within a team environment
Able to read SOPs, labels, work instructions and blueprints.
