Food service quality assurance personnel perform a number of daily tasks. Please review the job duty list to ensure you can perform these duties. Primary essential duties and tasks: • Works with store level management in the execution and implementation of training curriculum to ensure the successful development of all store employees. • Ensures that all relevant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines are being implemented with a high degree of success. • Performs store food safety inspections and ensures product safety. • Participates and provides support and guidance to store management before and during store openings to ensure smooth and efficient operations. • Ensures that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to approved FiveStar recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving per FDA standards. • Participates in new product roll outs, customer service initiatives, and quality control. • Will assist in follow up with food service category managers on communications as relates to food service. • Merchandising up to and including: checking pricing of products, evaluate freshness, product presentation, and signage. • Will stay informed on all health and food safety information and regulations including food quality, food service and sanitation guidelines, pest control as well as enforce all local, state, and federal laws that apply to the food service area. Must be ServSafe certified. • Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: • 1 year food service management training experience preferred. • Have a high school diploma/GED and/or 3 years or more food service management and food safety experience. • Be able to do day trips and multiple days with overnight stays. • Able to physically operate and trouble shoot all food service related equipment. • A working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Strong team player. • Commitment to company values.
