        We are a small behavioral health practice seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our team! We work with children facing a variety of developmental challenges and are in need an administrative professional to support our efforts, so that we can serve a growing number of families. The position is currently for 15 hours per week (i.e., 3 hours/day, Monday through Friday), with the potential to increase hours in the future.

        We are looking for a professional who has a passion for supporting others, and in particular, one who has a desire to be a part of creating lasting change for children and families. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, a cheerful energy, and a willingness to go above and beyond to support our patients.

        PLEASE NOTE: We have carefully implemented various safety procedures so that we are able to continue serving families in-person. Relatedly, we are looking for an administrative professional who is able to work in the office. With that said, we do have systems in place to allow the administrative assistant to work from home, if it becomes unsafe to be in the office at any point in time.

        The administrative assistant will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

        Responsibilities:

        • Answer inbound telephone calls and emails
        • Plan and schedule appointments
        • Check insurance benefits and authorization requirements
        • Greet and assist patients in the office
        • Develop and implement organized filing systems
        • Copy-edit practice documents and materials (e.g., flyers, newsletters, presentations)
        • Perform all other office tasks (e.g., preparing mailings, ordering supplies, scheduling routine services, such as cleaning, shredding pickups, IT servicing, etc.)

        Qualifications:

        • Previous experience in office administration, with clinical/mental health experience preferred
        • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
        • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and take initiative
        • Strong attention to detail
        • ​Strong organizational skills
        • Flexibility and adaptability
        • Discretion and trustworthiness, as you will often be privy to confidential information
        • Honesty, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining high professional standards
        • High-level capability in working with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, Planner
        • Experience with electronic healthcare records (EHRs) preferred
        • A positive attitude
