Senior Analyst - Site Experience
Whirlpool Corporation is looking for someone passionate about the customer experience to elevate our various domains. The on-site experience is at the forefront of the Direct to Consumer, Digital, and Media team's initiatives, as putting the consumer experience first and building loyalty is our #1 objective. In this role you will help us to create and optimize meaningful, usable, and delightful experiences on our websites . You'll inspire others to put the user first and craft experiences that highlight our appliances, which are integral to the user's everyday life.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving on the on site consumer experiences for millions of views across our portfolio of brands. This will be accomplished through defining and partnering to implement the content required for rich consumer experiences, partnering with a conversion rate optimization agency to develop a program to identify tests and implementation opportunities, and leading the determination of business insights, benchmarking, analysis to feed into tests or implementation opportunities.
Our ideal candidate is a great storyteller and strategic thinker with an innate passion for consumer experience and content, digging into analytics to create deep insights and hypotheses, testing with a fail fast and move fast approach, and understanding best practices. You'll be able to effectively summarize research findings and test results to provide well-informed recommendations for implementation, and partner cross-functionally with analytics experts, content creators, eCommerce product managers, and digital brand managers.
This position is located in our Benton Harbor, Michigan office, although will be remote with the current environment.
Define and implement the content strategy and on-site experience for promotions and other user journeys
Partner with the Content Team to articulate net new content required for user journeys
Partner with an agency or external content authors to implement content and the on-site experience for user journeys; for example, net new landing pages
Uncover optimization across our site, be able to quantify and assess the opportunity and consumer impact, and successfully make meaningful incremental and step change improvements to the customer experience
Develop Augmented Reality strategy and execute delivering AR
Act as the Scrum Master for the broader Site Experience team in order to ensure the team's initiatives ladder up and partner together to deliver a cohesive roadmap (new user flows, content landing pages, and enhancements on the sites)
Clearly articulate your experience decision making process to business partners and executives
Provide monthly updates to key stakeholders
Take risks and champion new ideas
Advocate for rich desired consumer experiences

3+ years total work experience in eCommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain, Strategy, Finance, Operations or IT within a cross functional role
Experience presenting & influencing findings to peers and senior leadership in a group setting
Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Psychology, Communications or related field
Hands-on user research role identifying content,UX design enhancements
Demonstrated passion for learning, dealing with ambiguous situations, and aligning with cross-functional partners on decisions
Passion to deliver the desired customer experience
Proficiency in analytics to uncover opportunities and calculate ROI of UX enhancements
Leading and aligning cross-functional teams in a matrix organization - being able to pull people along in the process while influencing without direct reporting authority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to speak his or her mind and be a thought leader in this space
Experience or familiarity with designing for accessibility standards
Proven ability to make smart decisions about how and when to apply research methods based on solid understanding of their benefits and tradeoffs
Experience using UserTesting.com to deploy user tests
Experience working in agile environment and sprints
