                        Job Description

                        The Sr. Manager - Fixed Assets is responsible for managing the fixed assets group and maintaining the integrity of the fixed assets database for both book and tax purposes which includes tangible, intangible and right of use assets. Collaborates with the rent group to manage and report the right of use assets under ASC 842 and IFRS16 accounting methods. Interfaces with Tax, Business Development, Regional Operating Controllers, Field Controllers, Accounts Payable and Corporate Accounting.  This is a management position and reports to the Sr. Director of Asset Management.
                        
                        
                        Essential Functions:
                        •Manages the fixed assets department within Corporate Accounting.
                        •Serves as the primary technical accounting resource for all fixed assets related matters.
                        •Reviews staff functions including reconciliations, asset maintenance, depreciation analysis, periodic and quarterly reporting.
                        •Responsible for analyzing fixed assets acquisitions.
                        •Interacts with IT on upgrades, enhancements, tax law changes and support issues.
                        •Supports the tax group on bonus patches and tax law updates.
                        •Directs the period closing process for the fixed assets group.
                        •Leads the preparation and review of depreciation budget and forecast for the company.
                        •Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the IFRS system and performing IFRS analysis on a periodic basis.
                        •Responsible for preparing quarterly fixed assets and lease accounting tax rollforwards.
                        

                        Requirements

                        Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: 
                        •Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
                        •Requires 5 years of relevant experience
                        •Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
                        •Advanced reporting skills using PeopleSoft Query/nVision
                        •Strong leadership and organizational skills
                        •Requires the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively
                        •Requires excellent problem solving skills
                        •Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal skills
