The primary function of the Warehouse Supervisor is to supervise all warehouse employees and to assume responsibility for all warehouse activities both on and off-site.
Work Schedule: The Warehouse Supervisor works regular business hours M-F from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with one hour available for lunch. This work schedule is variable depending on plant needs. The warehouse office is located in the finished good warehouse. This position typically spends about 75 of time in the office and 25 of time in the warehouse.
Essential Job Functions:
-Supervises and delegates tasks to warehouse personnel.
-Responsible for all warehousing paperwork including bills of lading and lot traceability of finished goods.
-Conducts traffic scheduling of all outbound shipping.
-Responsible for proper receiving of all raw ingredients and packaging supplies.
-Manages inventory of all raw ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished goods on a first in first out basis.
-Conducts end of run and monthly cycle inventory.
-Conforms to standard warehousing practices and GMP s in all warehousing activities
Work Environment Physical Demands:
-Works primarily in warehouse of the plant, but often range into all plant areas.
-May lift up to 50-pound items from the floor to chest height without assistance and occasionally team lift up to 100 pounds.
-Associate's degree, with a Bachelor's preferred
-Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing
-Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
-Basic computer skills
Beneficial Qualifications: Experience in a food manufacturing environment Knowledge of sanitation, pest management, and HAACP
