The HACS is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player, with successful administrative experience, to serve as Administrative Assistant. The HACS hires quality employees and encourages excellence, to ensure the HACS will achieve and maintain high performance standards.
Provide technical support to staff during the development of projects, including the development of goals, innovation and performance measures.
Ensures the Agency’s ability to respond to major changes in business models and new technologies that assist in accomplishing the Agency’s mission.
Coordinates travel arrangements and per diem request for the Executive Staff.
Serves as a member of HACS’s Culture Management Team. Present presentations to staff on procedures to develop and maintain a positive workplace environment.
Prepares routine memoranda for the agency staff notification.
Determine the appropriate allocation of billing and clarification on questionable invoices/charges related to the Administrative Department and Central Control Office.
Purchase office machines, equipment and furnishings for the Administrative offices with approval from supervisor through the procurement process.
Directs administrative support activities such as printing and duplication services.
Process the LIPH Management requests for temp labor from the temp agency and process temp timesheets weekly.
Maintain the agency’s fleet software and provide weekly updates to supervisor.
Review/Screen applications and send to the designated department and call and schedule interviews.
Request Background checks on all desired applicants.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor.
· 3 years of experience in which clerical work was a major duty.
· Baccalaureate degree
