HR Generalist and New Hire Orientation FacilitatorOur Boca Raton agency is growing tremendously and we are adding a highly responsible HR professional to our team. The successful candidate must possess prior health care industry experience (in any capacity). You will be accountable for the logistics and virtual/online class facilitation for a multi-day orientation class and all the logistics and new hire documentation associated with onboarding new employees. This job requires a high degree of confidence, proactivity, accuracy and organization skills. Mature, composed, and professional communication skills will help make the candidate successful in this role.
The ideal candidate must have at least one year of highly responsible, fast paced HR Generalist experience in a healthcare setting, including a minimum of one year administrative supervisory experience in a health care environment.
A typical workweek could include:
- Facilitation of New Hire Orientation sessions and overseeing all new hire training requirements.
- Managing the onboarding process, including background checks and credential management using multiple technology systems.
- Collaborating with members of the team to help place new hires with our clients.
- Ability to manage all eLearning/virtual employee training via the LMS (learning management system) including course enrollments and completion statistics.
We are small but mighty team: you must be energetic, willing to go above and beyond your job description, be a helpful team player backing up your colleagues, love to work with the senior/aging population, and be willing to share in after hours "on call" responsibilities for emergencies. College degree or equivalent professional work experience highly preferred. In addition, you must either possess or be capable of understanding the State of Florida home health agency operational requirements. This role will be used to groom the candidate for other agency management roles if the candidate shows success in the HR Generalist capacity.
