Job Description
Looking for a Forklift Operator position? Currently hiring for Forklift Operators in Breinigsville, PA! Opening is for 2nd Shift (10AM-6PM or 12pm-8pm). As a Forklift Operator you will operate a forklift to pick and prepare products for shipment or to be received. These Forklift Operator positions are full time and long term (temp to hire) and we are looking for qualified individuals that want a career opportunity to join a stable and growing organization!
Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Pick or put away orders throughout the warehouse as needed
- Operate several different types of forklifts
- Ensure timely and accurate picking of customer order
- Ensure that orders are properly wrapped and labeled
- Ability to prepare necessary paperwork for shipments (BOL, Export Documents, etc.)
- Responsible for keeping a clean and safe working environment
Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Ability to read, write and understand English, counting ability and perform basic arithmetic
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Standing for long periods of time
- Lifting and moving boxes up to 50lbs.
- Bending and twisting at the waist – wrapping pallets
- Able to work in hot or cold environment – typical of a distribution center
