1st Shift Production Manager
Overview
As a Doughnut Factory Operations Manager, you'll support the General Manager by assisting with the daily operations of the factory, fostering teamwork, achieving financial objectives, and Growing Our Peeps. You'll have the privilege of Inspiring Customer Wonder by providing delicious sweet treats to customers of all ages through our Consumer Package Goods division!

People
Assist and support a productive and energetic team! Develop and encourage our Krispy Kremers – this includes interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, coaching, scheduling, and resolving disputes. Communicate with the team – engage Krispy Kremers on a regular basis so they know what is expected of them with clear directions and expectations.
Production / Equipment / Safety / Sanitation
You'll develop a great understanding of our delicious doughnuts and other sweet treats, as well as production processes to maintain a high level of quality. You'll assist in overseeing and implementing standard procedures to maximize efficiencies and control variances in daily production of product and overall performance. You'll help coordinate production schedules to fulfill our customers' orders and run efficient and smart labor hours. You'll understand quality control procedures, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer satisfaction. You'll troubleshoot any production/equipment issues
Always Promote factory safety and co-lead monthly Safety Meetings providing metrics and a monthly focus area. Maintain the highest level of factory sanitation and equipment maintenance by following our Preventative Maintenance calendar
Accounting
Work with to maximize profitability and sales growth in all factory functions. Assist with income and expense budgets, profit and loss, budgeting, and cost control. Complete required reporting documentation – both financial and operational. Manage company resources responsibly including, inventory control and protecting our company assets.
Leadership
Communicate and model company standards and policies
Implement efficiently and effectively directives from commissary, corporate, and divisional management
Develop and maintain commissary organization to promote efficient operations
Interface with corporate office personnel
Essential skills and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required
Experience with sales, management, production, and customer service
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Pleasant disposition, sociable, accommodating nature, and enthusiasm
Self-motivation, creativity, and adaptability
Basic computer, telephone, and fax knowledge
Must be available for full time (40+ hours/wk)
Completion of Krispy Kreme sponsored training programs
Must meet Krispy Kreme driving standards (three year clean driving)
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
Nonessential skills and Experience:
Post Secondary Education strongly preferred
