    Clinic LPN or Medical Assistant - Full-Time,Days - AMG Elmbrook Internal Medicine - Brookfield,WI

    *Work Schedule-

    Monday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
    Tuesday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
    Wednesday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
    Thursday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
    Friday: 8:15AM - 4:45PM

    What You Will Do

    Medical Assistant

    As an associate with Ascension Elmbrook Internal Medicine, you will have the opportunity to assist with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.

    • Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.
    • Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
    • Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
    • Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
    Clinic LPN

    • Contributes to the assessment of patients and ensures the well being of patients
    • Administers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments
    • Performs laboratory tests and theraputic services.
    • Educates patients/families about disease treatment plan, including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.
    What You Will Need

    Medical Assistant

    • Required Credential(s):
      • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Diploma
      • High school diploma or GED required
    Work Experience:
    • None required.
    Clinic LPN

    • Required Credential(s)
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer.
    • Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconson Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
    • Diploma
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
