What This Position is All About:
The DVP, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for leading all Financial Planning activities, including Capital Planning. They will be responsible for building budgets and forecasts, building complex financial models, and collaborating with the executive team to develop long term growth strategies for the business. This role requires regular interaction with senior level executives within the company, and will be a key business partner for the executive team. A successful candidate will be a leader within the Finance team, and will be relied upon to deliver timely and accurate financial updates to the organization. A key part of this role will be to develop the existing FP&A team, look for efficiencies within our processes, and ensure the adoption of best practices.

You Also Have:
8 years + of relevant work experience in a Financial Planning capacity with a large company and a strong work ethic
Exceptional communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships while constantly maintaining communication with business partners, finance co-workers and other stakeholders.
Readily and frequently collaborates with others.
Strong leadership skills with a mindset to develop a team and drive results
Effective organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
Results driven, reliable and excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent technical skills, and experience with Oracle and Hyperion Planning will be an asset.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
As The DVP, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will:
Develop and manage a team in supporting the overall objectives of the business
Own the annual budget, and monthly close and forecast processes
Present financial updates to the CFO and other senior leaders, inclusive of providing strategic recommendations
Build complex financial models to evaluate opportunities, and enable the organization to deliver on long term growth strategies
Lead the capital planning process, and provide recommendations to the business on the expected return on any proposed capital investments
Collaborate with other finance leads to ensure consistent approaches are followed, and best practices are adopted across the organization.
Be required to complete ad hoc reporting and analysis by quickly assessing what the end product should look like, what information needs to be included, and how to provide this in a quick and efficient manner
