Camelot Education is excited about continuing our school in partnership with the Harrisburg School District at our Cougar Achieve Academy campus. This campus consists of three alternative education programs: Middle School and High School Accelerated and Transitional programs, as well as an Elementary K-5 program. Students are supported by a team of professionals that include credentialed teachers and behavior management professionals. The focus of these programs will be to keep students on track to graduate; and in our Transitional program, to successfully transition them back to their regular campus to achieve success.
We are recruiting creative, compassionate, caring educators to join our staff, eager to help our students excel academically and achieve post-secondary success. We are currently accepting applications for a Special Education Coordinator.
The Special Education Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the special education programs and services in conformance to District, State, Federal and Camelot’s objectives and academic procedures; providing written support and/or conveying information; serving as a resource to patrons, school personnel and the local district; and maintaining adequate staffing to ensure objectives of programs and services are achieved; attends administrative meetings per a CST referral to campus and support all aspects of IEP process and Special Education file management.
