        Great work you'll do here:

        The Non-Government Billing/Collections team member ensures the organization's collections and risk management strategies are carried out in an effective manner that results in the most profitable and efficient collection and performance.

        • Responsible for timely resolution of insurance claims including appeals
        • Follow-up on overdue accounts through research, phone calls, re-submissions and adjustments for billing errors
        • Verify billing frequency, required forms and general billing requirements
        • Communicates with agency personnel on incorrect payor data that is identified
        • Prepare collection form letters
        • Review a minimum of 30 transactions per day to seek payment of billed claims
        • Develop working relationship with insurance and other payors
        • Completes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company

        • High School Diploma, preferably college degree in healthcare, accounting or business
        • One to Five years of experience as a medical collector/biller working high receivables in the Healthcare industry
