Serve as a Project Supervisor/Sr. Staffing Specialist over high-profile and high-volume delegated examining and merit promotion recruitment activities for a designated Human Resources Remote Operations Center (HRROC) customer, and support the same recruitment activities for various agencies as required.
Serve as the primary point-of-contact (POC) for the client Project Manager and COR; serve as a POC for staff and clients to resolve escalated issues.
Prepare for and attend regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
Direct, motivate, and guide team members toward mission and goal accomplishments.
Apply knowledge and experience to support the quality control process; review work products and provide constructive corrections and recommendations for improvement as a method of on-the-job training for more junior-level staffing professionals.
Perform day-to-day problem and issue resolution, including quality control.
Ensure data integrity of workflow tracking required to pull reports.
May be responsible for performing job analysis, developing assessment questionnaires, and documenting evaluation criteria in accordance with agency requirements; reviewing and adjudicating veterans' preference; reviewing applicant qualifications for the full range of agency occupations; and providing written justification for the same.
Responsible for overseeing all aspects on onboarding activities, including pay-setting and salary negotiations, accuracy/quality of job offers letters, and coding of personnel actions.
Write and conduct performance appraisals, and address performance and disciplinary issues with support from HR and HRROC management.
Manage timekeeping and approve PTO.
Subject matter expertise in USA Staffing Upgrade.
Currently Delegated Examining Unit certified.
Technical Federal HR knowledge to verify achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Detail-oriented and skilled in quality control methodologies.
Ability to train and mentor staff, and effectively lead a team of HR Specialists.
10+ years of operational and managerial experience in multiple Federal HR skillsets, including staffing and onboarding.
Must have reached the GS-14 level or higher, including 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience tracking and reporting on staffing and recruitment timelines and deliverables.
BA/BS degree is preferred.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the government-required security clearance.
