job summary OUR CLIENT IS HIRING!! Data Warehouse BI - ETL Developer needed in CHESAPEAKE, VA!! Responsible for the creation of automated BI solutions, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment. Responsible for the development and maintenance of an automated ETL pipeline, using a suite of UNIX Shell, SQL, Python, and other tools. Will validate and transform data extracted from structured and unstructured data inputs, databases, and other repositories, using scripts and other automated capabilities, logs, and queries, as required. Will develop Business Objects universes in accordance with current company standards and industry best practices. Will provide production support for end users and batch processes. location Chesapeake, Virginia job type Permanent salary 90,000 - 100,000 per year work hours 8am to 5pm education Bachelors responsibilities Principal Responsibilities -Develops the scripts used to load data into the data warehouse -Develops scripts and programs to extract data from source systems -Develops the scripts necessary to incrementally evolve the data warehouse data model -Creates project requirements documents -Creates technical project documentation -Creates Business Objects universes and Web Intelligence documents -Creates MicroStrategy metadata, cubes, dossiers, dashboards, and reports -Creates LogiAnalytics reports -Performs production support of data warehouse and BI related systems Key Skills -Communication -Problem solving -strong analytic skills -Ability to multitask -Ability to work individually or in a team environment -strong written and verbal skills -strong knowledge of business domains -ETL ELT concepts Desired Qualifications -College degree in a computer science or related field.
