        Job Description

        Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

        Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success, as both an individual contributor and team member, in identifying and addressing client needs involving supply chain and /or manufacturing-related operations within the Healthcare Industry, including the following areas:

        • Leveraging WMS knowledge to assist clients in the implementation and support of WMS packaged solutions, with emphasis on designing, implementing, and supporting Supply Chain processes and solutions;
        • Understanding the common issues facing clients who are designing new processes and implementing WMS systems within one or more of the following sectors: consumer goods, retail, aerospace and defense, automotive, energy, industrial products, technology or utilities;
        • Participating on proposal development efforts;
        • Possessing success with WMS functional configuration and development;
        • Participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of Firm capabilities, daily management of engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues;
        • Demonstrating ability to present complex supply optimization analytics in simple supply chain cost and performance terms;
        • Demonstrating experience in quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to critical thinking and the ability to manage details in context of the overall supply chain performance;
        • Understanding the development and design of robust warehouse operations metrics and reporting structure to maximize the impact of implemented WMS systems;
        • Understanding of capabilities of and implementing Korber HighJump and/or SAP EWM technology to drive measurable results in industry or consulting environments;
        • Processing review, redesign and implementation;
        • Understanding of current and anticipated future capabilities of trending logistics technologies such as IoT sensors, innovations in visibility, logistics control towers, proactive exception management, blockchain, etc.;
        • Creating and implementing unique and innovative warehousing solutions to reduce warehousing costs and speed inventory turns (warehouse layout, material flow optimization, labor productivity, etc.); and,
        • Implementing Omni-channel fulfillment operations including direct fulfillment center, and last mile delivery operations.

        Demonstrates a thorough level of ability with a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member identifying and addressing client needs with a focus on process and technology changes to logistics functions.
