Specifically, the Security Engineer specializing in CyberArk Privileged Access Management will have a great opportunity to work within various complex IT Security environments throughout the North Central region (IN, IL, MN, OH, and MI). The PAM Security Engineer will provide solutions to various prospectscustomers across numerous vertical markets (for example, healthcare, financials, technology, legal, local government, etc.). The PAM Security Engineer has an in-depth working knowledge and proven experience working with CyberArk and other privileged access management solutions. This person should have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with various PAM security tools in large, complex, multi-platform environments. The PAM Security Engineer will have working knowledge in some, or all, of the following areas account onboarding, password management, privileged session management, API integrations, and general business processes and practices with PAM security controls. Roles and Responsibilities The Security Engineer is responsible for maintaining the application layer of the product suites. Activities will typically include Providing an overview of CyberArk and equivalent Privileged Access Management solution capabilities Implementing CyberArk and other PAM solutions in client environments Assessing and troubleshooting CyberArk and other PAM solution installations Assisting in the daily operations of CyberArk and other PAM solutions Execution of project tasks during engagement activities Execution of daily tasks, support tickets, and provisioning tasks as assigned or routed via the ticketing system Applies knowledge, skills and abilities to implement a process or procedure, timely and professionally. Communicates project status and escalates issues as needed. Works on special projects as assigned. Position Requirements Must have strong proficiency and experience in CyberArk Privileged Access Management Solutions (Note applicants without past CyberArk or PAM experience will not be considered). Knowledge in one or more of the following security technologies Privileged Access Management in addition to CyberArk, Firewalls, IDSIPS, DLP, Vulnerability Management, Configuration Management, Endpoint, SIEM, and general networking background Proficiency in currently supported versions of operating systems including Windows Server, Windows Workstation, RHEL, CentOS and Ubuntu Linux Proficiency in monitoring and defending attacks utilizing security technologies, including, privileged access events, advanced anti-malware solutions, network forensics, and visibility solutions Information Systems architecture and security control design and development experience Up to 50 out-of-town travel may be required to client locations within the North Central Region (primarily, IL, MI, MN, OH, and IN) Security Engineers work from home when not visiting client locations Education and Technical Requirements Strong experience working with CyberArk PAS technologies CyberArk Level 2 Defender certification or higher preferred 2-5 years relevant experience supporting CyberArk or equivalent solutions in an operational or consulting capacity CISSP certification preferred B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience preferred Possess good working knowledge and understanding of Windows credential stores such as Microsoft Active Directory and their related security capabilities and functions. Working knowledge of Microsoft application software (i.e., Word, Excel, Visio and Project) Working knowledge of typical application life cycle development processes Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to resolve issues Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong requirements elicitation and conflict resolution skills Ability to self-direct and work independently Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple priorities Why GuidePoint ?
