This position simultaneously leads multiple large, cross-functional projects within Kroger and with selected third party vendors. Maximize supply chain effectiveness by promoting the continuous improvement efforts of the logistics department. Assemble and lead project teams, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed and develop timelines and schedules. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Manage multiple supply chain projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.
Establish and maintain updated project plans and budgets.
Conduct and lead project meetings.
Ensure all project objectives are clearly documented, approved and delivered to meet expectations.
Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables.
Communicate timely project status to all stakeholders.
Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate unresolved issues.
Actively seek new supply chain project opportunities through collaboration with other departments and suppliers.
Conduct various supply chain analysis.
Serve as a supply chain subject matter expert on projects being led by other departments.
Build strong relationships across all functions within Kroger as well as with suppliers.
Comprehend and negotiate when necessary vendor proposals.
Present process changes, gain alignment from all functional leaders, and work collaboratively to implement.

7 years of experience in any of the following functional areas (level 9): Supply Chain Management or Analysis, Procurement or Inventory Management, Merchandising or Category Management, Distribution or Operations Management, Transportation Management, Grocery Store or Retail Operations, or Logistics Customer Service
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Education Level: Bachelor's Desired
