Position Summary The Avaya Engineer will serve as technical resource and subject matter expert while working with a mixed team of Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Security, and Telecom professionals in close partnership with our technical support and systems administration teams on day to day operation and maintenance of various telecommunications hardware and software systems. Our Telecom Specialists provide product analysis, troubleshooting, deployment, and implementation support in an Avaya focused enterprise environment which includes Avaya Communication Manager R5.2.1 S88XX Servers and G650 Gateways, Call Center Elite, Modular Messaging R5.2, Call Management System (CMS) R14, AES with TSAPIDMCC for recording, and Nice Recording. Responsibilities Perform moves, adds, changes, and repair for all telecom systems Manage projects and perform tasks related to projects to implement new technology as assigned Design and implement vectors and workflows to solve business needs Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting complex telecom systems and voice network issues Manage system resources to reduce impacts from outages Complete changes with minimal impact to end users and customers Work with manager and department managers to ensure services meet end-users requirements Create and maintain documentation on telecom system topology, and installationconfiguration procedures Follow established configuration procedures to ensure a consistent environment Provide end-user, supervisor, and manager training on phones, voice mail and ACDCMS software Monitor and update telecom systems for optimum performance in order to meet business needs and objectives Programming and Troubleshooting an Avaya PBX platform, including Automatically reassigning skillsqueues and vectorsinstructions based on schedules Managing RBAC for managers to be able to modify queues Creating new vectorsinstruction sets Using variables in vectorsinstruction sets Creating custom reports for contact center and PBX activity VoIP deployment, administration, and troubleshooting Experience Avaya Communication Manager R5.2.1 S88XX Servers and G650 Gateways Call Center Elite Modular Messaging R5.2 Call Management System (CMS) R14 AES with TSAPIDMCC for recording Nice Recording Preferred Windows Server 2012 Active Directory Desktop Support QUALIFIED CANDIDATES CAN EMAIL THEIR RESUMES TO mailto .
