Our mission is to ensure memories are delivered one piece of furniture at a time, on time, every time. We are looking for individuals experienced in logistics and transportation to add to our team who will contribute to achieving our mission.  

 Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. (S)He will be responsible for administrative processes including: managing incoming and outgoing daily mail, printing checks, filing documentation as required, maintaining daily spreadsheets, as well as other duties as assigned. 

Principle Responsibilities:

        Administrative Tasks

  • Printing checks, matching correct invoices to verify accuracy
  • Office printing for payments, scanning to correct designation
  • Assist in placing order for locations nationwide, included but not limited to Quill, Uline, Grainger, Mohawk, etc. 
  • Maintaining multiple spreadsheets that are updated in a daily manner
  • Cross checking all data coming in from overseas
  • Matching manifest numbers to contractor invoices
  • Mailing out payments, preparing labels, etc.
  • Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including: answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing
  • Keep stock of office supply cabinet and order as needed

Education

  • High school diploma, or the equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • 3 years of administrative experience
  • Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Great communication skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration
  • Highly organized
