This position is responsible for ensuring continuity of enterprise personal computers and related peripherals, and to provide first line user support to Wauna CU employees by providing the technical expertise and assistance necessary to install computer software and hardware, and resolve technical problems in accordance with Wauna CU processes and policies. Tasks include, but are not limited to: assist employees with software and hardware problems; hardware purchase, installation, trouble shooting and maintenance. This is a non-exempt position.
Provide assistance to other employees with computer problems, and coordinate with the appropriate vendor if necessary.
Be available and cooperative to help other employees facilitate the resolution of problems.
Assist in keeping IT procedures manuals updated.
Maintain hardware and software to prevent service interruptions, and coordinate maintenance with the appropriate vendors.
Assemble PC components into a complete PC system and install and configure Windows operating system, Microsoft Office software, and other software as prescribed, guided by procedures.
Travel to other Wauna CU locations to perform necessary hardware tasks as needed.
Troubleshoot and support basic systems functions related to the core credit union transactional platform and associated services, electronic document archival, and print functions.
Utilize the help desk ticketing system to enter, track, and resolve support requests.
Uphold and use TMA (The Member Advantage) AID,Inc principles to serve internal and external members and meet CU goals; identify, recommend, develop and implement products and services that are best suited to fulfill the needs of the member.
Understand and promote Credit Union vision, mission, goals, culture, values, image and service philosophy; projects positive image and role modeling.
Be an ambassador for Wauna Credit Union in the community.
Understand compliance issues and attend training as they relate to the position, including, but not limited, to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, etc
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Associate degree in computer science or equivalent degree; or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least two years' experience working with personal computers.
