Electrical Mechanical Technician
Provide leadership, technical, and manufacturing expertise including responsibility for asset management, up time, troubleshooting, pm, breakdown maintenance, training, goal setting (all areas), tracking, documentation of all equipment.

Location: Greater Jackson, Mississippi Metropolitan Area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure machines are performing at optimal productivity and the primary point of contact for daily technical support.
Manage daily maintenance activities and direct maintenance teammates.
Assist with development of budget and tracking mechanisms to ensure adherence.
Supports team members engaged in operations, maintenance, troubleshooting or operating all blow molding, injection, support equipment and packaging equipment. (training)
Actively involved in the continuous improvement of the plant functions (Including goal setting, tracking mechanisms, rebuilds, sharing with other locations etc.).
Assist/perform CAPEX development and Project Management
Assist planning and execution of safety campaigns; actively participate in accident investigations.
Recognized as a catalyst for changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency to work crews.
Analyzes and resolves work problems or assist workers in solving problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Verify maintenance systems are working properly and data integrity and information accuracy is maintained.
Knowledge of several lines of equipment, e.g., debagging, tray packaging systems, fillers, labelers, palletizers, and conveyors.
Experienced in training operators in equipment operational procedures. Must have knowledge of the operation of all machines on the production line.
Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Must have 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferable with blow mold or injection mold experience.
Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer is a plus.
Must be experienced with GMP's, sanitation standards and FDA requirements.
Flexible hours to manage multiple shifts.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as exceptional communication skills - oral and written.
In depth knowledge of:Blow/injection molding processes, procedures, and machinery.
Filling and packaging processes, procedures, and machines.
Capable of processing PET in injection or blow stages of production
Ability to learn and use software programs such as Presage, Margin Miner and JDE to maintain and evaluate quality data.
Positive can-do attitude person. Must be flexible to adapt to changes in workload.
Meets deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced teamwork environment.
Good interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
Ability to analyze financial statements and company metrics as well as water capital projects and specifications.
Ability to work independently and simultaneously on multiple projects.
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedure and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Knowledge of the structure of the English language including reading, writing, and oral comprehension, and oral and written expression.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, evaluation of customer satisfaction, and actively looking for ways to help people.
Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
