    Hospice of the Golden Isles, our community's premier non-profit hospice serving southeast coastal Georgia for nearly 40 years, is seeking an experienced Hospice Administrator/Senior Executive to lead the Senior Management Team and assume overall responsibility for operations, financial management, regulatory compliance and quality of care. The CEO works with the Board of Directors to set strategic goals and initiatives.

    Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

    Oversees clinical and administrative operations of hospice and palliative care ensuring program compliance with state and federal rules and regulations.

    Meets annual financial outcome expectations.

    Establishes and maintains effective communication with staff, volunteers, patients and families, vendors, and other community agencies.

    Cultivates and maintains cooperative relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and other referral sources.

    Cultivates and maintains strong relationship with key donors in collaboration with development personnel.

    Reviews and monitors staff utilization to ensure delivery of high-quality services and cost-efficacy.

    Position Qualifications

    Baccalaureate degree in health care related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years hospice executive level management experience. Expertise regarding palliative care, hospice operations, regulations, and governance. Excellent public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills. Meets all federal and state regulatory requirements to serve as hospice administrator. Ability to relate professionally and positively to the Board of Directors, physicians, and staff. Philosophy of death and dying that demonstrates integrity, ethics, and compassion. Professional demeanor.
