Functional Duties are: Design, document, test, and deploy new Cyber Defense systems. Research, analyze, document and brief written products outlining new and emerging Cyber Defense technologies. Produce and disseminate the build of Materials, cost analysis, and procurement recommendations of Cyber Defense technologies. Operate independently to deliver Cyber Defense Solutions that meet customer requirements. Execute pilot(s) and demonstrations of new, existing, or emerging Cyber Defense Technologies. Provide Tier-3 operation and maintenance of Windows and Linux Operating Systems, as well as Cyber Defense systems such as, Fire-Eye, Fidelis, Gigamon, Suricata, and others. Functional Duties are: Manage the functionality and efficiency of Cyber systems. Apply Project Management and system security engineering expertise in the architecture system security design process; engineering life cycle; system integration; risk management; contingency planning; incident handling; configuration control; change management; security testing; and certification and accreditation process. Validate and verify system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs using Cyber Risk Management and Compliance Automation (XACTA) and the Risk Management Framework (RFM) to achieve Authorization to Operate (ATO) Perform, or review, technical security assessments of computing environments to identify points of vulnerability, non-compliance with established IA standards and regulations, and recommend mitigation strategies. Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content Support system installation, configuration maintenance, account maintenance, signature maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of operational CND systems ​ Cyber Auditor/Inspector - Security Auditing - Colorado Springs CO, Pearl Harbor HI, and Washington DC

Functional Duties are: ​​ Identify and manage network computer and system security events relative to fraud, waste and abuse, including content inappropriate to the workplace, Illegal Activity, Productivity Loss and Non-Compliant Activity, as well as Identity Leakage (PII). Perform forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Utilization of tools such as Archer, Splunk, Fidelis, Solera, Proofpoint, etc. Prepare case evidence and incident reports. Work on special projects as assigned. May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members. Position may require evening, weekend or shift-work (depending on operational tempo) ​ Cyber Incident Responder - Fusion - Reston VA

Functional Duties are: ​ Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators, and coordinates with other government agencies to record and report incidents. Participate in collaborative sessions with other CNDSPs and IC agencies on malicious intrusions, attacks or suspicious activities, as well as share emerging Cyber Threat Intel data. Assist in the development of Indicators of Compromise for active defensive countermeasures and passive detection signatures. ​ Perform recurring, world-wide RMF A&A on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) Program Management Office (PMO) for General Services (GENSER), and Special Access Program (SAP) / Special Access Requirements (SAR) CSSPs in accordance with (IAW) DODI-8530.01, CJCS 6510 series, and IC Directives and Standards; and for sites connected to the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications (JWICS) backbone IAW DIA JWICS Connection Approval Program (JCAP) policy. ​ Functional duties are: ​ Conducting worldwide SAP/SAR and GENSER CSSP security control assessments to improve services and standards Conduct internal assessments of the DIA CSSP SAP/SAR and GENSER program Coordinate remediation of DIA internal assessment findings with responsible DIA support offices to ensure mitigation Provide monthly Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) metrics for DIA internal assessments Develop auditor requirements and recommendations for Cyberspace Defense Services (CDS) assessments for sites connected the JWICS backbone in support of JCAP Perform security assessments at remote sites.
