OVERVIEW Do you have previous Human Resources experience? Are you looking to play a meaningful role in a creative environment? If so, we are searching for someone like you to join our team of experts supporting military and DoD operations. As a Human Resouces Specialist III, you provide support and assistance in the management and operations of program related HR tasks within the Digital Directorate (formally known as the Battle Management Directorate), located at Hanscom AFB, MA. You will work in direct support of government Branch leadership, and in conjunction with Branch engineers and program managers, to support the personnel needs of the Branch. Your duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: * Provide HR support to military, Government civilians, contractors on a daily basis * Maintain WebAims, the personnel database, of all employees and manage in and out processing * Coordinate, plan and execute the Branch Awards program, including disseminating award guidance to government personnel, reviewing award and decoration submissions for compliance with award guidance, and submitting/tracking award packages through approval process * Review, track, update, and submit all vacancies ads for the military Vacancy Master List (VML) * Update duty titles, raters, positions and other personnel data for military members * Review, maintain, and support updates to the Unit Manning Document (UMD) to reflect new gains, losses, Security Access Requirement (SAR) codes, duty title changes and any division/branch personnel changes * Review, update, and track awards * Coordinate all reserve man days and long tour orders, to include funding * Manage deployment training for military personnel within deployment window * Work with Branch Chief and Deputy to update duty titles, raters, positions and other personnel data for military members * Work with the Functionals to ensure maximum utilization of manpower and manage the status of ongoing personnel actions * Represent Branch interests at Division Organization, Train, and Equipment (OT&E) Meetings * Conduct regular status briefings to Branch leadership REQUIREMENTS * BA/BS degree and 10 years of experience, 5 years with DoD support preferred; years of experience may compensate for lack of degree * Experience in Air Force Human Resources policies and procedures is highly desired * Experience with the Air Force and Dept of Defense Awards and Decorations process * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing * Active Secret clearance is required EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER MCR, LLC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
