If you are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician position Staffmark wants to talk to YOU! Staffmark is looking for a Quality Assurance Technician in Elwood/Joliet, IL for several opportunities working with our client who is a distribution company. -Starting Pay $17.00 per hour!

Work location: Elwood, IL
Shift: 2nd shift 3pm – 11pm
workweek: Monday – Friday
Pay: $17.00 per hour

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for ensuring that product packaged is free from quality defects through routine quality checks and audits

Possess strong skills in multi-tasking and effectively juggling multiple issues and tasks at once

Possess an eye for detail

Able to communicate effectively with management and production when addressing quality defects and issues

Ability to understand standards, work instructions, and customer specifications

Ability to perform basic math functions: addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and calculating averages

Maintain required frequency of quality checks on assigned lines

Maintain accuracy when performing quality checks

Initiate the Hold Process when defects are observed

Oversee and validate line adjustments and in-line rework

Prevent defective product from accumulating beyond one check cycle

Provide quality feedback to Line Leads and Quality Lead

Maintain neat and orderly work station throughout the shift

Other duties as directed by the Quality Lead

Perform all functions with minimal direct supervision

This job requires the ability to:

Demonstrates a positive attitude and teamwork in meeting goals and objectives

Demonstrates commitment to process excellence by ensuring proper, efficient and accurate use of the process

Communicates well with leadership, team members and other departments
