Compensation: This position falls under the City of Denver Prevailing Wage Law. The base rate is $21.20/hr, however other rates may apply depending on job assignment within the scope of the job description.
Maintain and repair painted and other finishes in the Complex.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Paint and maintain various types of finishes, i.e., latex, stain etc.
Accurately mix colors to match an existing surface, or to match a color chart
Maintain appropriate inventory, order product, any safety labeling and PM's as required.
Make dry wall and other surface repairs and carpet repairs
Make recommendations to Chief Building Engineer with regards to equipment and materials needed
Monitor and track building projects and advise when projects should occur and if added staff is needed to complete on time.
Participate in maintaining a safe working environment
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
Four to five years of commercial painting experience in a facility trades maintenance position; painting as a primary function preferred
High school diploma or GED preferred
Skills and Abilities:
To operate appropriate lifts and maintain certifications.
Ability to read blueprints preferred
Good organizational, communication and inter-personal skills
Understanding and using sustainable products.
Basic office computer skills
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid Class C Colorado Driver's License
Position may require certifications by law and/or job assignment.
