      Job Skills / Requirements

      This is a FT security superivsory role in a medical clinic environment. This person will oversee sites in both Des Moines and Iowa City.

      Knowledge of Microsoft Office products Esp; Word, Outlook, Excel

      · Has had at least 2 years minimum verifiable security supervisor experience.

      · Ability to multitask and prioritize work by level of importance and time sensitivity

      · Ability to maintain confidentiality with patient contact/treatment info as well as HIPPA, security issues, and future policies/plans/changes

      · Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and grooming standards

      · Ability to calculate and maintain accurate daily, weekly, monthly records and forward to management/interested parties

      · Willingness to comply with ever changing policies regarding safety, PPE, procedure, and standards at the direction of American Security and Clinic/Headquarters management staff

      · Ability to determine proper timing for soft approach Vs more confrontational approach when it comes to officer, client, Pt, staff member safety

      · Ability to remain cool under pressure with the threat of; name calling, physical confrontation, aggressive people, mentally challenged, trauma victims

      · Host weekly meetings with client Security & Facilities Manager via, in-person, phone, Zoom/Skype, email or as directed by client needs

      · Manage 5 other officers working remotely to be the main contact between American Security and PPH Security & Facilities Manager or his designee

      · Working knowledge of Camera Systems and multiple computer screens

      · Experience with Policy writing, disaster plan implementation, or security procedures

      · Ability to interpret and understand basic trespass, private property, and federal law as it pertains to Clinic use

      This position requires a high degree of trust and integrity. A great deal of responsibility, confidential, and intimate knowledge/information will be placed onto your shoulders and in your hands, the safety, confidentiality, reputation, and the client's brand will be riding on your shoulders. You will be the first person and last person our clients see; the whole clinic experience can be made positive or negative based on your initial contact as well as level of professionalism. This position requires flexibility with hours as the advertised hours are a general idea.
