This is a remote position and reports to the Vice President, Growth & Strategy. If you're up for a challenge, we've been looking for someone just like you. Typical Duites * Target Market Expertise: DoD/COCOM; Intelligence Analysis & Training * Develop a plan for securing knowledge and understanding of the customer's requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases and lead planning sessions with core team * Strategize on win themes aligned with customer's critical needs * Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices * Plan and participate in capture activities, to include opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, collaboration and workshop sessions, proposal reviews * Lead competitive assessments, teaming, and price-to-win efforts. * Lead the development and submission of white papers, RFI responses, and other proposal artifacts as assigned * Apply capture planning processes and best practices consistently * Brief capture status to senior management when appropriate * Support other business development activities as assigned * Conduct after-action reviews for all business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions * Mentor other capture managers and rotational program staff in the capture management process * Developing capture budgets and execute capture plans within those approved budgets Here's What You'll Need: Education * Bachelor's in Business, Management or closely related or technical degree and a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Required Skills * Leadership skills to develop, organize and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans to shape acquisitions, in order to respond to and win business with new and existing customers * A proven track record of successful capture management across Department of Defense (DoD) markets across multiple organizations and program offices in the Advancing National Security-Defense at a variety of acquisition sizes * A track record of leading mid-to-large (>$50 Million) captures and winning those competitions; as well as developing and managing a multiple opportunity pipeline * Experience leading teams in a virtual environment; ability to work through others, and get results from teams that do not report directly to you * Technical writing and proposal development experience * An ability to relate concepts and plans to their financial outcomes and clearly demonstrate an understanding of corporate indirect rates and LOE/BOE development * Strong verbal communication skills and prior experience briefing executives * Willingness to travel and support customer visits and strategy workshops. Estimated up to 25% annually as required. * Completed professional training in Capture Management Clearance * Ability to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance Preferred. Active Secret clearance is required. Essential Functions Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sfficient mobility included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a posibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Position will require heavy use of computing systems. Work Environment Generally on office environment, may be a cubicle (considerations: cose quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers, customers, and all levelsor mangement. The work site is in a remote capacity. This position is locaton agnostic. The candidate does not ned to be located in the DC Metropolitan area and can work remotely. Equipment and Machines Ability to operate ofice equipment such as personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine, and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools and required. Attendance The core hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. However, there is flexibility on the hours. Punctuality and regular attendace are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirments. Other Essential Functions Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer's locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary.
