As a Business Development Specialist in our Northern Virginia territory you'll have a dedicated territory to call on restaurants, grocery chains, country clubs and other businesses to consult with them on their uniform and linen service needs, including weekly pick-up, cleaning, and delivery.

He's a hands-on manager who will invest time in training the right person in both our industry and B2B sales.   

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Act as a Solutions Expert
• Help prospective customers identify uniform rental and linen service solutions which are customized for their business needs
• Present competitive solutions to help customers improve the quality of the products they receive while lowering their total spend.  
• Help restaurants "green" their supply chain with reusable products and a certified CleanGreen laundry service.  
• Build Relationships
• At Dempsey Uniform, relationships with our customers are built on trust and that trust starts with you - we keep our promise to our customers each and every time we deliver 
• Leverage our excellent reputation with existing customers to build relationships with new prospects
• Call on business owners and senior-level decision makers to promote our services by phone, social media, email, and in-person 
• Grow Our Customer Base
• Execute on prospecting, product and sales training to close new business  
• Meet and exceed quarterly goals to drive your own and the company's financial success 
• Make a successful career with Dempsey! 

YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• The ability to think creatively and problem-solve on the spot
• Experience in prospecting and generating leads successfully
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Preferably a track record of hitting and exceeding quota in a B2B sales role
• Strong insight into how various organizations operate and what decision-makers to target
