Finishing Specialist / Painter

Cobham is actively seeking a highly motivated Finishing Specialist who possesses the ability to perform finish coat painting, conformal coatings and markings in accordance with special specifications on work where high-grade finish is essential. Will also maintain paint inventory and painting equipment according to instructions and procedures
As Finishing Specialist your responsibilities will be:
Conducts painting assignment under guidelines in product specification and/or process sheets.
Maintains painting equipment and supplies.
Performs basic paint operations on manufactured parts.
Able to apply basic paint coatings such as epoxy and urethane coatings.
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience or equivalent as a Painter/Finishing Specialist in the Aerospace, Auto or Boat Manufacturing industry.
Good motor skills and dexterity.
Experience with use of hand tools and painting equipment.
Must be able to discern color shades.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Works well with others, good communication skills.
Patience and dexterity to perform repetitive/detailed work.
Versatility to work within diverse project environment
Performs finish coat painting in accordance with special specifications on work where high-grade finish is essential.
Performs marking tasks via silk-screening and stamping
Experience maintaining paint and painting equipment according to instructions and procedures.
