        Job Description

        SCHEDULED HOURS: 40 hours/week (M-F 9am-5pm)

        PROGRAM: Respite

        DEPARTMENT: Enfield, CT

        OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

        Oversee all operations of program including budget management, interaction with funder, developing marketing plans, and independent decision making. Provide clinical consultation and oversight of case planning, care coordination, and supervision to the staff. Demonstrates knowledge of program goals by developing and administering relevant operating standards and procedures for specific program and make appropriate changes in program to reflect agency priorities and strategic plan.

        DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

        • Directs crisis intervention efforts and intervenes as required.
        • Insures clients receive treatment services that are focused on presenting problem and clients request for service. Monitors client meetings, admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
        • Provides clinical direction and leadership within the Team.
        • Evaluates staff and initiates and follow through on progressive discipline, if needed.
        • Insures timely completion of reports and data on performance indicators, DMHAS standards, program enrollment, incident/accidents, etc.
        • Oversees completion of chart audits and ensures needed documentation.
        • Responsible for hiring staff.
        • Reviews caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
        • Provide on sight coverage for other programs when needed
        • Develop and executes marketing plan for program as needed
        • Provides training, and case consultation.
        • On call coverage during and after program hours as assigned.
        • Ability to provide on site coverage outside of assigned schedule as needed.
        • Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles/if applicable.
        • Participates in committees to improve agency service delivery and quality improvement.
        • Responsible for program budgets and productivity expectations.

        QUALIFICATIONS:

        Education: Master's in mental health related field. 

        Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a clinical mental health setting.

        Licensure/Certification/Registration: LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred.
