The Data Architect will be responsible for developing a data warehouse including design, implementation, ongoing maintenance, and management of the businesses data assets to assist the business in achieving its goals regarding reporting and mining. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with senior developers and DBA in architecture, development, and maintenance of all system databases. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with company directors and information technology professionals to establish needs and opportunities for data products delivery. Build, maintain, and extend existing data warehouses to support business requirements. Develop Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence data sets including multi-dimensional modelingcube development. Design and implement data solutions including data partitioning, data normalizingde-normalizing, data aggregations, and ETL. Create simple to understand documentation for IT developer and report writer consumption of data products. Maintain knowledge of software tools and programming languages that support all database environments. Act as a mentor for junior report and integration SSRSSSIS developers ESSENTIAL SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelorrsquos degree or equivalent work history in database development, software engineering, or related field Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS. DBA or similar experience in transactional SQL. Experience programming and report writing in a Microsoft environment. Including mobile responsive reports. Experience translating complex functional requirements into technical solutions. Advanced knowledge of SQL 3NF and Star Schema. Practical hands on experience with data modeling, ETL, OLAP, and data profiling. Skilled in writing SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures leveraging transactional databases, relational data marts and data warehouses. Understanding of financial business reporting in the context of data marts and warehouses. Strong collaboration, facilitation and communication skills. Ability to multi-task and participate in a complex portfolio of projects. Proven organizational and time-management skills. Operational and financial understanding of the independent restaurant industry is a plus. This is a full-time, permanent position.
