Role Lab Tech Location Carlsbad, CA Description The contractor is expected to have the following skillsets and capabilities Hands-on experience supporting and managing multiple labs and test environments Experience with automating and scripting deployments Experience with virtualized environments (VMware) Experience with Linux system administration Understanding of basic networking principles including networking protocols, ports, and firewalls Experience monitoring IT security threats in accordance with IT Security protocols Experience monitoring of storage space and capacity usage Experience with supporting physical hardware servers, storage, and network devices Experience with supporting virtual servers, storage, and network devices Experience working within a cross-functional team Experience working with outside technical vendors Experience with issue management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Atlassian, etc.) Ability to perform project and resource planning Ability to work across multi-functional teams Ability to quickly adapt to an ever-changing environment with shifting business priorities based upon customer requirements Strong organizational skills Flexibility to work after hours andor on-call as needed
