    State Housing Clerk, F/T (35 hrs/wk) The Falmouth Housing Authority (FHA) seeks a motivated self-starter for the position of State Housing Clerk. Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director, the position is responsible for the day-to-day management of 79 units of public housing; 1 group home, and 33 state vouchers. The position entails processing of housing applications through the state waiting list (CHAMP), conducting tenant selection and leasing, preparing tenant certifications, performing unit inspections and work orders, oral and written communications with portfolio tenants, maintenance of tenant files, front desk reception assistance and other duties as assigned. Successful applicants should be well organized, able to work with a diverse portfolio, pass CORI screening upon hire, have a valid driver's license as driving may be required as part of this role using a FHA vehicle or personal vehicle, provide previous job references, have excellent communication skills, and be able to excise and maintain confidentiality. Experience in Massachusetts state housing, knowledge and use of software systems such as PHA-Web, Microsoft Office, CHAMP strongly preferred. Ideal candidate should have 3-5 years working administratively with the general public. FHA offers excellent benefits including health and dental insurance, Aflac, and retirement.
