Job Description

Human Resources Director

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (there will be overtime required, can work up to 10 hours a day)

Location: Fontana, Chino

Competencies:

  • Excellent organization and follow up skills
  • Knowledge of CA Labor Laws, Sick pay
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

  • Bachelor's degree (Required)
  • Bilingual English and Spanish (Required)
  • 5+ years of recent Human Resources experience
  • Proficient in MS Office to include PowerPoint and Excel
  • SHRM (plus but not required)

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Labor Law, Management success, Applied Reasoning, Payroll
  • Handle worker comps, FMLA, LA claims
  • Communication and setting up webinars for the team to keep everyone updated on laws, sexual harassment, payroll, CA labor laws
  • Manages requisitions and hiring to meet organizational goals to include quality of hires; time to fill and cost per hire
  • Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit the very best candidates
  • Screens resumes and candidates to identify appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position prior to presenting to hiring mangers
  • Create and implement employee relations policies to help increase employees' job satisfaction
  • Establish an orientation procedure for onboarding new hires and training them to meet the needs of the company
  • Employee relations, benefits, and training
  • Manages and coordinates communication, interviews, and assessments for candidates and hiring managers
  • Documents post-interview debrief and post mortems with interviewers and candidates
  • Performs job analysis and works with hiring managers to develop and document effective job descriptions
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Initiate and supervise the implementation and advancement of human resource processes
  • In-depth knowledge of Human Resource operations and legal regulations
