Expected Pay Range:  $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for overall PCB design process
• Owner of layer setup, placement, routing, fabrication and assembly documentations, and PCBA quotation packaging
• Build and manage symbols and footprints libraries as well as schematic/PCB templates
• Define and maintain DFx rules and impedance control rules
• Perform stack-up, placement and routing analysis, impedance calculations, signal integrity analysis, and power distribution network analysis
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure PCBAs meet form-fit-function requirements
• Lead Component Library Management, BOM Management, and BOM Change Requests
• Primary contact with contract manufacturers for engineering questions related to BOM, ICT, functional test requirements

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) certification
• 3+ years of experience in moderately-complex PCB design 
• Thorough understanding of PCB layout techniques, tolerances, and IPC standards
• High proficiency with Altium Designer
• A strong team player, results-oriented, excellent communicator, and comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Applicant must be eligible to work in the United States.

Desired:

• IPC Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) certification
• Working knowledge in Rigid-Flex and Flex designs
• Proficient in schematic capture with Altium and OrCad
• Experience in OrCAD PCB design tools
• Conduct board bring up, design verification and validation activities
• Hands on hardware engineering and design prototyping experience
• Process-oriented in PCB design 
• Experience working with remote team members (30% of EE are remote)
