MUST HAVES: Troubleshooting experience --Problem Solving skills is key 1 year Medical office experience-prefer billing/collections experience but willing to train if they have the problem solving skills Typing test requires 40 wpm MINIMUM SCORE Excel test required scoring 85% or above in INTERMEDIATE SECTION--Must include testing in sub package ( validate they have working knowledge as they use excel more than other positions) Strong Computer Skills (will be navigating Multiple programs at one time--will teach them their internal online systems but will be using excel and emails on daily basis) Detail oriented Fast Paced or High Productivity Environment (some tasks require turn around time on 1 hour to respond)
Best Vs Average: For the next class for collectors they would have to know excel a little better than our elig/auth people. Our collectors use it in a much different way. They run reports that export to the excel and have to add formulas and stuff like that. Medical industry knowledge is a huge plus for learning curve and being familiar with insurance terms on the provider side (open to bg if have the ability to learn quickly and drive to succeed)Love to see Excel knowledge and Typing speed (50 and up)
